Well, Frank and Anita's ceremony is finally written and sent off for approval. I think it came out really well. As soon as they give me the go ahead I'll start memorizing it and get it in the book.

Christie and Torrey
Last weekend I married one of my "kids" Christie to her fiance Torrey.
I arrived early, at the Masonic Hall in Sebastopol, to check in and get the lay of the land, so to speak, and see where the ceremony was going to take place and get details.
After meeting with Christie I knew where and when things were going to happen. All we were doing now was putting the finishing touches on things.
It turns out the music wasn't going to be able to be played in the room we were in and a boom box was called in. What, no boom box? Ok, the DJ did the next best thing and we used a laptop. The music wasn't that loud but it worked.
All we needed now was the Groom. Christie sent Torrey home for something they forgot. Torrey had to go as none of his guys were there yet.
He ended up having to do a couple of other things and ended up being late to his own wedding.
But he made it. The only hitch during the ceremony was when we tried to get the rings off the pillow and somebody had tied tehm too tight.
Otherwise the ceremony went fine. We had BBQ afterwards and toasted the happy couple.
I was very pleased to be able to marry Christie and Torrey.

New Wedding
Got a call last night from one of my "kids". She had asked me if I would think about Officiating her wedding next June and tht she needed to talk to Torrey about it. I told her to let me know. Last night Christie called me and asked if I would Officiate Nov 5th. Of course I told her I would be honored to do it for her.
Just waiting for her ideas now and I'll work on a ceremony nezt week.

Another Wedding
Well, this wedding is a ways off. It's October of 2006. I will not be performing this ceremony but I will be active in it as my friend Kendra's Best Man. I'm looking forward to this ceremony.

New wedding and Stuff
I know I haven't posted in quite a bit. To be honest I am still getting used to the idea of having this Blog. I will try and do better about posting here. I am still unsure exactly what I will be posting though. That seems to be the rest of the problem. I'm not sure what I'd like to post about. Hopefully I will have more things coming up to post about. I will most likely start posting about upcoming services.
In the meantime:
I will be performing a ceremony for Anita and Frank on December 4th up in La Pine Oregon. I have known Anita for a few years and I am looking forward to this ceremony.
We haven't worked out the details of the ceremony yet as it's still a ways off. Most likely the ceremony will be a collaboration in which I will take their idea and flesh them out into a nice ceremony for them.
